Where early-stage startups become investment-ready
Who we are
/ˈfʊndiː/ - an expert, learned and successful at repairing things
Fundie Ventures is an impact venture consultancy. We work with early-stage startups solving today’s global challenges and impact organizations like grant writers, accelerators, and funds looking for support in their impact endeavors.
Our main objectives are:
We work exclusively with companies that are committed to a positive and measurable impact on people and the planet –impact that is inextricably linked to the DNA of their business model. These companies generate revenue by solving a social or environmental challenge.
Business is a powerful driving force for change. With this in mind, we operate with the belief that all investments should be impact investments – generating measurable social, environmental and financial returns, and putting equal importance on all three of these bottom lines.
We started Fundie to help entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of their first capital raise after friends and family and to bring impact and business expertise to organizations with impact at their core.
Some call it impact investing, others a triple-bottom-line; we call it common sense.
We help startups prepare for to engage in dicussions with professional investors for the first time. The investment size of startups we work with typically range between €50,000 – €500,000.
We work with social businesses that meet the following requirements:
What we look for in startups
We look for teams who share the same vision and drive. Each member needs to understand their specific role and be willing to do the unromantic work in a startup.
Solid business models
We invest in business models that are scalable and tested. It is important that at the core of the business model lies the solution for a real problem people are facing.
We only invest in companies that have measurable social or environmental impact. We exist because we believe that social impact is mutually inclusive to the business model.
